Drexel Places 3rd
in the AISC Steel Bridge Competition

The Steel Bridge Competition is back, hosted by the
American Society of Civil Engineers in conjunction with American Institute
of Steel Construction. The competition allows civil engineering students
to learn how to design, fabricate and erect a small-scale physical model
of a steel bridge. The bridges are then tested and ranked according
to their performance under different stresses. This year 2 senior design
teams used their final projects in the competition held at the University
of Pittsburgh April 28-29th.
