Building Systems Engineering
The Building
Systems Engineering graduate program was added to the department in
the Fall of 2002. The graduate program covers all topics related to
Buildings Systems, such as mechanical, electrical, envelope, building
automation, and security.
Both
full- and part-time M.S. and Ph.D. programs are offered. Full time M.S.
students and all Ph.D. students are required to write a thesis on an
approved research topic. They are expected to be involved in one of
various on-going research activities at the Building Systems Laboratory
(BSL).
Graduate
students will be awarded M.S. or Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering
upon completion of the required courses and research. For further information
