Interest
Research work will center on the development Information Systems for the Geoscience communities, more specifically for the Hydrologic Community. This will include the development of community specific metadata definitions that need extensible, flexible and most importantly interoperable among other related communities. The work will entail the use of domain specific ontologies (OWL) for a semantically rich expression of data set relations, and also make use of Web technologies as XML and RDF.
